המון שואלים אותנו מה ההבדל בין הלחמת פלסטיק לריתוך פלסטיק, מתי צריך מכשיר ייעודי ומתי אפשר "לצאת ידי חובה" עם משהו פשוט יותר. אז הנה התשובה הישרה: אם אתם עובדים עם יריעות פלסטיק, PVC, ביטומן – ציוד מקצועי הוא לא מותרות. זה ההבדל בין עבודה שמחזיקה לבין עבודה שמתפרקת אחרי שנה.
מה זה בכלל הלחמת פלסטיק?
הלחמת פלסטיק (או ריתוך פלסטיק – אותו דבר) היא תהליך שבו מחממים שני חלקי פלסטיק לטמפרטורה מדויקת, עד שהם מתרככים ומתאחים לחלק אחד. כשעושים את זה נכון – עם הכלי הנכון בטמפרטורה הנכונה – החיבור חזק כמו החומר המקורי. לפעמים אפילו יותר חזק.
הטעות הכי נפוצה שאנחנו רואים: אנשים מנסים לעבוד עם מייבש שיער, מחממים ידניים ייעודיים או כלים "כלליים" ותוהים למה החיבור לא מחזיק. הסיבה פשוטה – שליטה בטמפרטורה היא הכל. מוצרי פלסטיק שונים (PVC, PP, PE, ביטומן) מתרככים בטמפרטורות שונות. כלי ייעודי עם בקר טמפרטורה מאפשר לכם לעבוד בדיוק.
הלחמת יריעות PVC – לאיטום ולתעשייה
PVC הוא אחד מחומרי הפלסטיק הנפוצים ביותר בתעשייה ובבנייה. יריעות PVC משמשות לאיטום גגות, ברכות שחייה, מכלים, חיפויים, אריזות תעשייתיות ועשרות שימושים נוספים. כדי לחבר יריעות PVC בצורה אטומה ועמידה – נדרשת מכונת הלחמה ייעודית ל-PVC.
הכלים שאנחנו מספקים של Leister ו-Flex מציעים שליטה מדויקת בטמפרטורה ובלחץ, כך שכל חיבור נעשה אחיד ללא פרצות. זה קריטי במיוחד בבנייה ובאיטום – כי פרצה אחת קטנה שלא רואים בעין יכולה להפוך לכאב ראש גדול מאוד.
מכונות הלחמה לביטומן – ענף הבנייה
יריעות ביטומניות הן הפתרון הנפוץ ביותר לאיטום גגות ויסודות בישראל. ביטומן הוא חומר תרמופלסטי – כלומר הוא מתרכך בחום ומתקשה כשמתקרר. זה מה שמאפשר לחבר יריעות ביטומניות זו לזו, לתקן פרצות ולאטום מבנים.
כלי הלחמה לביטומן עובד עם אוויר חם ממוקד – מחמם את שולי היריעה לטמפרטורה הנכונה, לוחץ, ונוצר חיבור שאמור להחזיק שנים. אנשי מקצוע בתחום האיטום מכירים היטב את ההבדל בין כלי זול לכלי איכותי – עם כלי מקצועי, העבודה נראית טוב ומחזיקה. עם כלי ירוד, מתחילים לראות ניתוקים ופרצות תוך שנה-שנתיים.

מה ההבדל בין הלחמת פלסטיק לריתוך פלסטיק?
אין הבדל – זו אותה פעולה בדיוק. ריתוך פלסטיק (plastic welding) והלחמת פלסטיק הם שמות שונים לאותה טכנולוגיה: חיבור שני חלקי פלסטיק תרמופלסטי באמצעות חום. התוצאה היא חיבור בלתי ניתן להפרדה שחזק כמו החומר המקורי.
האם אפשר להלחים כל סוג פלסטיק?
לא. רק פלסטיק תרמופלסטי ניתן להלחמה – כמו PVC, PE, PP, ABS ואחרים. פלסטיק תרמוסטי (כמו בקלייט) לא ניתן להלחמה כי הוא לא מתרכך בחום. לפני שרוכשים כלי, כדאי לוודא שהחומר שאתם עובדים איתו אכן ניתן להלחמה.
מה הטמפרטורה הנכונה להלחמת PVC?
הלחמת PVC מתבצעת בדרך כלל בטווח של 200-300°C בהתאם לעובי היריעה ולסוג ה-PVC. מכונה מקצועית מאפשרת לכוונן את הטמפרטורה במדויק. עבודה בטמפרטורה גבוהה מדי תשרוף את החומר; נמוכה מדי – החיבור לא יהיה אטום. לכן שליטה בטמפרטורה היא קריטית.
כמה זמן מחזיקה הלחמת PVC או ביטומן?
הלחמה שנעשתה נכון עם ציוד מקצועי אמורה להחזיק לאורך חיי היריעה עצמה – שנים רבות. הנקודה החלשה בד"כ היא החיבור רק אם הטמפרטורה לא היתה מדויקת, אם הופעל לחץ לא מספיק, או אם החומר לא היה נקי לפני ההלחמה.
האם אני צריך הכשרה כדי לעבוד עם מכונת הלחמה?
לא חייבים קורס רשמי, אבל כן צריך ניסיון מעשי. ההלחמה הראשונה תמיד דורשת כיול והרגשה של החומר. אנחנו ממליצים להתחיל עם פיסות גרוטאה מאותו חומר לפני שעובדים על הפרויקט האמיתי. עם קצת תרגול – התהליך הופך לאינטואיטיבי.

מ.א.מ וינברג הירש מספקת שירות תיקונים מוסמך לכלי Leister. זה כולל תיקון תקלות, החלפת חלפים מקוריים, כיול ובדיקת טמפרטורות. אפשר לשלוח את הכלי אלינו לאבחון ותיקון – בדרך כלל זמן התיקון קצר והכלי חוזר לפעולה מלאה.
